She also shared her thought about the project: “Before joining the IDEO project, we had struggled to find a way to improve our children’s situation. Our children were without self-confidence and they had become easily frustrated. After all our efforts failed we were extremely upset and disappointed, and even had a sense of guilt. Whenever we thought about our children’ future our tears kept falling. It has been a year since I joined the IDEO project, and my son has shown a significant improvement and I am currently learning Sign Language in order to communicate with him. Now our family can communicate and understand each other. My son’s life has turned a new page since that day”.
